You will be instructed to position your car in the starting block, from which point you must reverse around a corner (poles) into the parking bay. You will be required to do this manoeuvre from both the right and from the left. You can not bump the curb or any obstacles. You may not change direction while executing this manouevre. You are allowed two attempts from each side.
- Position car in the starting block, when instructed to do so. Select hand brake & neutral.
- Check mirror and blind spot (to the side that you will be parking), select indicater.
- Select reverse gear and obtain clutch control.
- Do your 360 (full observation), from the opposite side to which you intend to turn.
- Release park brake and move off.
- Before you turn the steering wheel, check the opposite blindspot and steer into the parking bay, using your side mirrors to make judgements and wheel to make adjustments without touching any obstacles.
- Position the car in the parking bay, and stop.
- Select hand brake, neutral.
- Cancel indicater if necessary.
