This manoeuvre is for light motor vehicles only. From the starting position, you would be required to perform a turn in the road using not more than 3 moves, and without bumping the curb. You will only be allowed one attempt to execute this manoeuvre. When instructed to perform the manoeuvre from the starting block:
  1. Check your rear view mirror & right blind spot, indicate right, clutch in, 1st gear, clutch control. Then do your 360 observation(left blind spot, rear view mirror, right blind spot) from the left. Release park brake.
    • Whilst moving your car forward, lock wheel to the right, counter steering (straightening) the wheel just before stopping at the opposite pavement.
    • engage park brake/hand brake, select neutral.
  2. Check your rear view mirror & left blind spot, indicate left, clutch in, reverse gear, clutch control. Then do your 360 observation(right blind spot, rear view mirror, left blind spot) from the right. Release park brake.
    • Whilst moving your car backward, lock wheel to the left, counter steering (straightening) the wheel just before stopping at the rear pavement.
    • Engage park brake/hand brake, select neutral.
  3. Check your rear view mirror & right blind spot, indicate right, clutch in, 1st gear, clutch control. Then do your 360 observation(left blind spot, rear view mirror, right blind spot) from the left. Release park brake.
    • Move forward far enough so that you end safely in the left lane, whilst turning your wheel to the right. NOTE: BE CAREFULL NOT TO MOVE TOO FAR FORWARD, TO THE POINT WHERE YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO COMPLETE THE MANOEUVRE CAUSE OF HITTING THE CURB.
    • Then straighten the wheel (when safely in the left lane), bringing the car to a stop.
    • Engage hand brake, select neutral.
