Turbo repair specialists in Cape Town. Car has no boost, loss of power

Turbo repair specialists in Cape Town. Car…

All of a sudden my car has lost power.
The turbo isn't kicking in at all and if I drive the car over 3500revs the globe warning light goes on, even though nothing different actually happens once the light goes on.

The car doesn't smoke or use any oil.
There all no leaks.

I took the car to a buddy, after scanning it with his computer scanner it read error code P0229. No boost

Based on that I did some Internet research and narrowed it down to:

A leak pipe.
Faulty actuator.
Faulty turbo.
The DPF.

I'm looking for recommendations on Cape Town based turbo specialists that can check the out out for me and give me a conclusive diagnosis before I start spending money on the car.

It's a Polo 6 1.6TDI 2011 model.

If the Turbo is damaged you will here a noise or it will smoke noticeably.
Chances are its your actuator and i say so from experience.

The best thing you can do right now is to take the car to a proper Turbo specialist. I would recommend Turbo Master in Maitland.

They are very expensive and they charge for every small thing but they specialise in this and they will diagnose the car correctly. If you arent happy with the quotation, pay them for the diagnostics and get the car repaired elsewhere.

Speak to Aysha at 021 511 8642.
The address is 21 Cannon St, Maitland, Cape Town, Its just off the M5.

Dont scratch on the car further.
