Does anyone understand how rain, the new cellphone networks works.
Ive been on hold for too long and I'm number 56 inline to chat on the website.
I dont understand their products.

Rain Mobile sells data. Their 2 core products are:
1. R50.00 per GB. This is charged in increments of 5 cents per Megabyte.
2. An add-on option for R250.00pm, if you buy this option you get "unlimited" data from 11pm at night until the next evening at 6pm

The difference between Rain and any other service provider is:

1. With Rain, you only pay for the data that you used in MB increments, similar to call per second.
2. With Rain, you pay at the end of the month, use the data first and pay later.

You dont actually buy anything, think of it like you water meter or electricity meter of the past, you use the services and get billed at the end of the month.
