I'm looking for help to acquire any documents…

I have an Alfa Romeo which has been exported from South Africa but I have no papers for the car. I have the registration number and there are two id plates riveted to the bulkhead in the engine bay. The car was imported to the UK in August this year, but I have no other documentation or history.Can anyone out there assist me to get any documents which would authenticate the vehicle and its date of manufacture?
