Im selling a car to a small car dealership but i want to make sure the paperwork is handled correctly.

When they complete the yellow change of ownership form, seeing that its a company, what info and paperwork must they provide so that I can do the change of ownership myself at the traffic department ?

To sell the car to a company, whether its a car dealership or not, as long as its not a natural person you want to make sure you have everything in order to ensure a smooth vehicle change of ownership, keep in mind that the objective of "most" tellers at the traffic department is to make your life unnecessarily difficult so one official may require something that another traffic department may not. Ive found myself in many situations where traffic officials argue among each other over what is required and to cover their backs they will request more than the bare minimum . You will definitely need furnish the following:
  • A completed NCO (yellow form)
  • The proxy or representative of the company must sign and complete the relevant section of the yellow form.
  • The sellers (Your) ID
In cases where the traffic official is very strict or just plain difficult you will need:
  • A yellow NCO form completed by the buyer and seller
  • The yellow form to be stamped by the company with the official company stamp (some traffic departments may accept a copy of the proxies ID in place of the stamp)
  • A copy of the proxies ID
  • A copy of the CK document with the companies registration number
  • Copy of the companies register certificate, this certificate is where they get the traffic register number from
  • The agreement of sale between yourself and the company buying the vehicle
  • The sellers (Your) ID
